Olympic Day Run 2011 - McDonald

Category - B (Women Open - 18 & above) - 7KM
Qualifying time : 80 minutes

This is the day... This is my first RUN... I'm so excited... Before the run I train myself a little so that if not time not qualified.. at least not that late.. hehe !! I cant jog or run.. Now 7KM ... OMG !! Why am I so torture myself???

I always want to participate in RUN.. But my stamina doesnt great so always think think think... But think doesnt bring you to success.. So ACTION !!!

First of all, why I pick this McDonald Olympic Day Run 2011? Just so coincident only.. Plus the entrance fee cheap lo.. RM10.00 only.. Oh !! I so cheapcake.. !!

Since the flag off time is 7.30 am and start register yourself there at 7.00 am and I got no idea where to park my car.. So why not fully utilise public transport? As LRT driver so considerate start train at 6.00am? :P ..

After warming up by Ronald, its time to get ready for flag off.. Everyone busy get in the "START" line.... the front the better.. at least not so left behind.. hahaha !!! Kiasu !!

Its a yogurt ice-cream... How different? Taste it yourself then you will know.. But for me its quite expensive compare to other similar ice-cream brand... But its fun..

You will think? what? fun? how can eating ice-cream can be fun?? Let's take a look..

Once enter the shop, there is a very big instruction board.. Advisable for first timer.. If still cant understand, please seek for assistant...


First step : Choose your cup size (Big, Medium, Small)


Second Step : Choose your favourite flavour... You can select more than one flavour in one cup... But dont be too greedy as too many flavour in one cup might end up tasting mix flavour...


Third Step : Choose your desired topping... Plenty of choices...


Fourth Step : Weighting as RM53.00 per KG

There is one outlet opened at my area... Soft opening got discount 20% and grand opening got discount 50%... wow.. Its a good chance for me to try.... yummy yummy.. !!

0.370 KG = RM19.60
After 20% = RM15.70


0.310 KG = RM16.45
After 50% = RM8.20


0.260 KG = RM13.80
After 50% = RM6.90

The overall ice-cream taste quite nice just due to freewill topping, you might end up very expensive per cup after weighting.. RM20.00 per cup, some people rather opt for "HD" ice-cream... Probably this is my last visit.. As per my own, its quite expensive for me...

Children do love it as they can decorate whatever topping they want.. So do bring your child there if you can afford... Great place for kid..

I bought a promotion voucher for this set.. I forgot which website... Its Supreme Pork Set + 2 rice = RM18.50... Original price for the Supreme Pork Set is about RM31.00.. Since I never been to this restaurant and there is great deal.. Let's give it a try.. Because as my personal opinion.. The set quite expensive...

Overall, I wont pay my another visit... Its not worthy for me to increase my calorie... Unless someone treat me.. hehehe !! BBQ? Doesnt reach the satisfaction... For almost RM40.00++, you dont feel your stomach full... oh yeah !! One thing I realise that, the staff will great "Sawadee" when people walk in... Is this brand from Thailand?

Mel's Drive In Fast Food

Well, in Malaysia we are famous with "M".. But i think western country like USA famous with this brand.. Correct me if I'm not.. Mel's Drive In ...

As i saw the decorate of this restaurant and the staff dresscode, its really look like in those movie we watched... yeah.. very western feel...

With the purchase of USS entrance ticket, come with S$10.00 F&B vouchers.. Yeah.. can cover a bit my expenses... Since price in USS will be much expensive.. Somemore its in S$ currency....

Yup.. even though is fast food with one burger, fries and soft drink but the burger is really different from what I saw in "M" or "BK" or "W"... yummy yummy.. I like the fries.. delicious...

Any other outlet beside this one in USS????

The chicken very tender with the BBQ sauce... Even the bread a bit hard but taste good... A bit weird the choice of vege...

Anyway.. I do order another set but too hungry so forgot to take the photos.. :)

A new beginning !!

Today is 1st July.. Mark a new beginning of my career life..

Well !! Its already 6 months past.. How many of your resolution accomplish? How many percent of your goal you achieved?
