Gen Japanese Restaurant - Legend Hotel (Closed)

Date : 26th June 2010
Time : 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Venue : Level 10, Gen Japanese Restaurant - Legend Hotel
Attendees : My sister and me

This is the first time for me at this restaurant.. Heard got nice view.. able to see KLCC and part of KL... let's check it out....

Most of the tables are facing to part of the KL view... its really nice feel.. watching the KL getting dawn.. The restaurant is medium side... even though full house but doesnt feel crowded.. So is quite comfortable dining at there... Imagine.. buffet style concept.. normally crowded and noisy.. surprisingly overhere really cant feel it... great...

Food wise - really depends individual.. but for me.. its in satisfactory level.. So i start the meal with fruit... hehe.. clear clear my stomach first... Dragon fruit and papaya... yummy...

Follow by the DIY miso soup... nice nice nice... but its not that hot only... just put in everything u prefer then add in the soup.... more tofu? more seaweed??? up to your favourite lo..

The chawamushi (I think wrong spelling - nvm la) - is delicious.. but the outlook doesnt tell.. Taste really good.. the egg very smooth and not overcook... one word.. good...

There are assorted sushi and shasimi you can choose from... But i love the most is the salmon shasimi... (see.. i took 5ive slices - but doesnt satisfy me... its so so mouthful)...

I'm so enjoying eating my salmon.. nice nice nice.... unforgetful... oppss.. above is the love prawn.. hahaha... all the assorted sushi taste nice... the combination is ngam ngam hor... matching...

Beside sushi, there are many varieties food.. such as fried rice, spagetti, tempura, and etc etc... check it out yourself if wanna know.. basically I'm lazy to list it down.. hehehe... I cant taste it all too... limited storage..

When come to buffet, your creativity is needed.. why? because like dishes such as miso soup, soba, teppanyaki and sukiyaki.. you just put your favourite and there someone will cook for you... So not only clothes, ingredient for dishes also can mix and match.. have fun..

In my lifetime so far.. I never had oyster.. so why not give it a try for today... Yuck... this is outcome.. hahaha... its so raw... The taste.. i really cant accept.. so no more next time... But it so fresh indeed...

Now.. the final one definitely dessert... pudding, mini cakes, ice cream and tong sui.. u name it u have it... so many many many... Girl.. love it the most...

Overall, I'm in satisfactory level.... If got chance, might consider a re-visit...
