Tortilla @ Wrapstarzz Times Square

Bought a deal for RM13.00 consists of 2 wraps and 1 nachoz which all total worth of RM25.00

Its a new kiosk and everytime I passing by, its no patron.. So since there is a deal, why not to give it a try? The whole wraps selection price range from RM4.90 to RM9.90 and the nachoz price range from RM7.90 to RM10.90... So for this deal, you only allow to choose wrap price of RM4.90 to RM8.90 and nachoz of RM7.90..

Remember choose wisely if not you cant gain the maximum discount of it... How to say? If you choose 2 of RM4.90 + nachoz RM7.90 = RM17.70.. So you gain RM4.70 discount.. But but but, if you choose two wraps of RM8.90 + nachoz RM7.90 = RM25.70.. So you gain RM12.70 discount.... Now do you see the different?

Tortilla Nachoz
Happy Face !!
I think the staff is rushing time to close because they didnt ask me whether to dine-in or take-away.. Give me take-away packing whereby I feel a little wasted as I'm dining-in..

Frankly speaking, waiting time is not really satisfactory since I'm only customer that time.. Imagine if at least 4 waiting? Hope they can improve it...

Tortilla Nachoz
Mine twos !!
The wraps serve in HOT.. So its good to bite.. But mine a little burn.. Overheat... So my two choices are Caesar Wrap (RM6.90) and Chicken Peri (RM7.90)..

Tortilla Nachoz
Cheezy Nachoz - RM7.90
Cheezy Nachoz make of corn tortilla chips, tomato sauce, nacho cheese sauce and slice onion.. Frankly speaking, the worst nachoz ever i ate so far... The cheese sauce is cold - should be just out of fridge... and the nachoz is not crispy anymore.. Should be expose to the air too long...

I didnt manage to finish it because the taste is very awful.. I didnt complain immediate to the staff as I'm in hurry.. So i drop a message at their FB and they replied will take note.. Hope they really take note on it...

Tortilla Nachoz
One full bite

Tortilla Nachoz
Caesar Wrap
The filling is enough and the sauce fill up all corner.. Every single bite you can taste all... Hope their ingredient can keep as freshness as they can... So would you consider Wrapstarzz or Subway?

Macau Pork Bun Tai Lei Loi Kei (Closed)

Its been a hype for Pork Bun since Tai Lei Loi Kei (大利来记) landed in Malaysia.. Few years back when I visited Macau, I didnt have chance to eat this famous pork bun.. I did went to the shop but the bun has its selling time due to fresh from oven..

Its not cheap as I saw the menu.. Just a pork bun and for RM10.00++? Still not my range... Since there is a Groupon deal at RM9.90 for choice of one main dish + desserts.. Why not give it a try then?

大利来记
Tai Lei Loi Kei Sri Petaling
Its quite big outlet and abit empty... I think its not really OK to take this big of outlet whereby there isnt much patrons.. For business point of view, not that cost effective...

大利来记
Our dinner + supper
Even we use voucher, but the cashier give us discount when order drink.. Its consider add-on when you buy set meals.. So the Ice Lemon Tea cost RM2.00 but doesnt taste good.. A bit diluted..

大利来记
Bouncing Pork Chop Mee
At first I want to order rice but finished, so choose mee.. I thought is instant noodle but totally wrong.. Its like wan tan me or tan tan mee or egg noodle... I think they put pork oil + soy sauce to make this dry mee.. Very strong taste of pork oil... Super nice..

大利来记
Macau Pork Chop Bun
The whole bun is signature.. Own made bun and recipie for the pork chop... The bun not much shout as its taste normal.. May be taste really good if just out from oven..

PORK CHOP... yes,, its very tender in term of texture... Nice to bite.. Portion is big enough to satisfy... Its has very strong aroma, not sure what recipe they use to marinated the meat... One little critic is TOO SALTY... yeah !! Two bites, I have to put it down... I hope can they improve it otherwise it will be my last...

大利来记
Sawdust cake (Original and Chocolate)
Compliment with desserts.. What is sawdust cake? Its not really a sponge cake.. Its mostly cream and chocolate/vanilla powder.. Probably this is the same as ice-cream plant.. Look like soil right?

Chew Chew Chow Tofu 超超臭豆腐

Stinky Tofu available in Malaysia and most of the major pasar malam like Taman Connaught / Sri Petaling / Kepong... If you are TVB drama fanatic or been to Hong Kong, you sure heard of stinky tofu.. Its Hong Kong signature snack...

I tasted really stinky tofu at China (forgot which city)... Oh gosh !! That's real sticky tofu.. The whole tofu is fermented tofu and then pan grill it.. One small bite, immediately I vomit it and wash my mouth with whole mineral water... damn !! But its totally dont have strong smell.. Just the taste awwww !!

In Malaysia, its totally different... Fresh tofu dip into fermented water (not sure how long) and deep fried it... Outside is cripsy, inside is soft... Its smell is really stink.. If you ever been to Pasar Malam (night market), you can smell the strong stink far far away... Many people will try to avoid it.. But its OK for me even though bad..

One bite, you will know how good it is... The smell is stink but the taste is delicious.. Soft tofu with crispy outside... with chili sauce and cabbage, perfect combination... selling at RM0.75 per piece.. Minimum selling is 4 pieces..

Chicken Rice @ Wisma UOA (Jalan Pinang)

There is foodcourt located at Lower Ground of Wisma UOA Jalan Pinang... This foodcourt use to be my daily lunch place when I worked at Wisma UOA back year 2008... That time, my favourite would be Chicken Rice (always long Q), Mee Bandung, Claypot chicken rice (long Q too) and Steam Fish Rice...

Its still my favourite lunch place after changed work but not frequent.. Around year 2010 to 2011, its close and refurnish to a better look... Then most of the stall owner changed even though type of food sell is same... Taste doesnt same...

Start to re-visit this foodcourt this year and find out the ventilation is better, environment is brighter and feel good to dine-in compare to previous... First try is the chicken rice stall.. This stall has a lots of option beside CHICKEN + RICE... You always can add-on... Chicken + Rice, or Chicken + Rice + Vegetable, or Chicken + Rice + Vegetable + Mushroom and so on and on..

So I tried Chicken + Rice + Vegetable for RM7.50... At first I thought normal vegetable like Sang Choy (Chinese Lettuce) or Yau Mak and the portion will be little... But but but, to my surprise, its baby choy sam (looks abit like Hong Kong style).. and its alots.. For vegetable lover, MOST happy time.. :P

Food COurt
Chicken Rice + Vegetable set
Totally no complain with the Chicken Rice + Vegetable set at RM7.50..

Food COurt
Choy Sam
Choy Sam vegetable is alots... and not over-cook it... The greenie still there... Doesnt feel old or hard even though it look thick or old..

Its standard chicken rice.. the rice very fragrant smell.. Its taste butter + ginger.. Not too soft and not too hard... Timing is an issue here...

Food COurt
Roast Chicken
The Roast Chicken is smooth and the skin doesnt dry... Quite perfect and for foodcourt standard, this is really good...

Chicken Rice Stall (Wisma UOA)
Yeah !! Nice Chicken Rice stall...

The baked cheese mac really nice.. Its not that cheesy until you want to vomit... Combine with some broccoli and carrot = balance diet... Little burn on the top its enhance the cheese flavour... Thumbs up... The portion is ngam ngam to satisfy the stomach... Not too full... :).. Save some space for desserts !!

The location is at lower ground floor (center court)... Its overlook the stage.. So if there is performance, perfect dining place...
