Big Apple Donuts

Its seems donuts season for my sister... since back from trip, she hunger for DONUT... Last week bought half dozen of DD... and today she bought two Big Apple... I think next week she goin for KC or JC.. hahaha....

Nice packaging even though for two... no wonder RM2.20... But nowadays.. all the donut's brand also not cheap la.. all the price almost the same as each other...

Restaurant Q Thai - Komplek Antarabangsa (Closed)

Went to lunch with colleagues... a lunch set is about RM10.00... Main course + tom yam kong or drinks.. sound expensive.. but take a look at the food first... After taste it.. you will said "WORTHY"... The Tom Yam Kong soup.. very nice lo....

Really nice.... its almost to the original Thai flavour... and I notice the waitress and waiter also Thai people.. But I'm not sure about the cook.... If got chance.. wish to go there again try other menu...

Guangxi Trip @ Guilin + Xingan - Day 3

Date : 9th May 2009
Venue : Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill, Merryland Theme Park

In Malaysia, breakfast normally will be nasi lemak, roti canai or teh tarik.. very strong taste of breakfast.. But at China, the breakfast very light taste.. For me quite ok as I dont go for heavy breakfast.. But for 8 days 7 nights, you might bored with the breakfast style.. even though I change hotel everyday, but the breakfast offer at every hotel almost the same... huh...

The first place for the day is, Elephant Trunk Hill... why call this name?? there is a legend story behind it... and its outlook really similar to the elephant in the midst drinking the river water... Dont ask me the story.. I forgot already.. hehehe... actually the best part of china is, whatever tourist place also got the legend story... If you want, can take the river cruise to see more clearer how the hill look like...

You will notice the photo seems abit dusty or hazzy.. yeah.. Guilin weather is like this de... hazzy.. Even though very hot, but I didn't see the sun... I can said wrong date.. coz I thought will be like at least cameron.. but its not.. haihzz.. So why not some ice-cream... yummy...

In China trip, there are some compulsory shop must visit.. Compulsory not meaning recommended ok.. Compulsory by China government that foreigner tour must go visit these shops.. like Chinese Traditional Medicine, Pearl, Jade, Crystal, Tea and etc... Franky speaking, the price not cheap lo compare to outside.. but I think quality will be better than outside la.. at least these shops is control by government...

Tour guide will explain this to us first.. then must at least spend half n hour in the shop.. you want to buy or not.. its up to you.. hehehe... I heard if you buy, the tour guide do have some commission... In china, actually whatever also money... tipping tipping tipping... haihzz...

After the Pearl visit, we proceed to lunch.. wow.. I so hungry because I didn't eat so much for breakfast... walk so much.. must eat alot lot lot to replace back the energy... hehehe... yummy... Since so hungry.. I only manage to snap part of the dishes.. Everylunch and dinner will be 8 dishes + 1 soup + 1/2 bottles beer + 1 bottle soft drink... geng ler...

After lunch, already very full.. so its times to get some walk.. At Guilin, its full of mountain... actually I got some feeling that.. "Why its look like Ipoh - sam poh tong ah - gua temperung ah??" hahaha.... Now only realize Ipoh's mountain also not bad lo.. World standard de...

Guilin most famous hill is Fu Bo Hill... This hill is represent Guilin de... Since so many local (china) tours.. We all decide to spend 1/2 hour there.. Why? because we scare of those local... they very rude and noisy.. we all cannot stand them.. hehehe... so a quick visit at this hill..

Take about 1 1/2 hours to arrive at XingAn... yeah.. its our - young people world.. Merryland Theme Park.. so nice.. the theme park very big.. but of course cannot compare to Korea ah.. Taiwan ah.. Disneyland ah.. haha.. But far more better than Malaysia.. got bungee jump de.. Sorry.. didn't take any photos.. coz busy seeing people play... I didn't play coz no kaki...

So I'm thinking since the tour mostly elderly going, why still arrange to go themepark.. haihzz.. so stupid arrangement... I'm accompany my father, mother walking slowly here and there lo.. somemore so sunny.. my father cannot stand the heat so most of the time we sit at one place and observe lo... My the other relatives they went to play their own...

About 5.30pm, we went back to the hotel to check in.. Merryland Hotel.. is together with the theme park de.. 5 star hotel.. this is only 5 star hotel we will stay.. and its very far away from town.. nowhere to go.. and nothing to play also..

Dinner time.. its at Hotel also... 5 star hotel wor.. sure the food nicer right?? I'm not sure la.. check it out...

Quite a nice dinner.. May be we so hungry.. hehehe... Since so early.. we walk around the hotel.. But nothing to see lo.. So we all went back own room to rest.. everyday we back to hotel at about 11pm.. and wake up 6am.. today since got many time to rest.. I really need to lay down on the bed and enjoy enjoy.. hehehe...

Am I suspected H1N1?

I'm not scaring anybody or even myself.. But the doctor told me to take extra pre-caution...

I'm back from China last thursday (14th May 2009), and the sore throat and coughing seems still follow me... Not getting serious but the curing process is little slower...

My job is provide training and doing support.. If no training, will engage in call all the time... I'm MC on Monday (18th) and get back to work on Tuesday (19th).. Since my another colleague on leave and no one is better understanding on the teaching lesson and I feel my throat able to handle it, I take over the Training for 11 persons.. Finish the training about 5.15pm.. my throat getting worst... Throughout the training, I keep on drink water and take candy.. but its seems didn't help much...

Today, I re-visit the doctor again to continue the antibiotic and MC.. the doctor told me I should go Hospital to do blood test.. Doctor said better becareful since my throat seems not getting well and I'm just back from overseas... hmmm... In my mind, I just think, if yesterday I didn't do training.. I think will be better... Doctor u dont scare me ok... So I convince the doctor to continue the antibiotic first and see what next... So the doctor advise me If friday also havent recover, I must go to hospital lo... okok..

Now, I'm trying to rest my throat and boiling some chinese herb to drink... hopefully will be better...

Let's check how many H1N1 symptons I engage with? 20% of it.. I'm still safe...

2. Cough - got because throat very dry and itchy
3. Sore Throat - yeah.. badly
4. Runny nose - I dont have
5. Body aches - I dont have
6. Headache - I dont have
7. Chills - I dont have
8. Fatigue - I dont have
9. Diarrhea - I dont have
10. Vomitting - I dont have

Pray pray.. I'm goin to better..... whenever I tell people I'm sick.. everyone so scare that I might be H1N1... haihzz... I better stay at home these few days la... if not my colleague all will scare.. no worry.. be happy...

Guangxi Trip @ Liuzhou + Guilin - Day 2

Date : 8th May 2009
Venue : Nanning - Liuzhou - Guilin

Consider a good sleep.... start a new fresh day.. really cant wait what is in front.. many people said GUINLIN's scenery is very beautiful... its my turn to experience it... Since I'm going to few places in these 8 days, from the southest to the northest of GUANGXI District.. So everyday must change HOTEL...

About 8.30am, start the journey to Liuzhou.... Below are some few shots before I left Nanning going to highway...

Almost 3 hours, reach at Liuzhou.. its a very small small industrial town... Because from Nanning to Guilin take about 5 - 6 hours.. so in the middle we stopby at Lizhou lo...

Finally arrived at the first destination... 1st we went to a garden... where the local people love to hang around there.... beautiful lake... we just spend about half and hours only...Its Friday.. but alot lot lot peoples around the garden.. walk walk.. jog jog.. picnic picnic.. got many students also... hmmm.. seems so relaxing...

After the nice and relaxing garden, we went to another big garden.. where there is a small muzeum and "tombstone" (Kubur - not sure english call what?) for the VERY IMPORTANT PERSON at old day's Liuzhou.. I forgot what the name.. He is the main person to develop this Liuzhou.. He is from some Dynasty... old right?... we spend about 1 hours...

Then we proceed to "jalan jalan" lo... been waiting for this long time jor.. hahaha.. there is a street where all the shop locate.. we spend about 1 1/2 hours at the street.. got eat got buy got drink got play.... not so big street.. but enough to spend for an hour...

At 4.30pm, we start our journey to Guilin.. the main town for Guangxi District.. its a tourist places.. as there is ones said "Guilin san shui jia tian xia, Yangshuo san shui jia Guilin".. let me see how beautiful of this two places.. as the days go on....

Arrived at Guilin, straight away we went to dinner.. coz the night activities is much more interesting.. hehehe... Because at night the Guilin's scene is full of colour.... its a colorful town...

After dinner, we went to massage lo.. foot or body massage.. I'm easily get "GELI" so I choose foot massage... this is my first time... I'm so nervous and excited.. luckily I managed to get through it.. hahaha.. alots of funny funny things happen throughout the period... huh... anyway, at least I successfully gone through it.... got 1st time will be 2nd time and more more more.. hahahaha...

Then then, the night still young.. hahaha... the colourful side of GuiLin.... ta... dah.....

So its time to go ZzZzzzzzZZzz already lo.. what a tired day.... sleep early la... tomolo another day... quite nice hotel... 3 star.. what do you want to expect right?.. hehehe.... Goodnite...
