Langkawi - Day Two - 19th Oct 2008

CONTINUE FROM DAY ONE

Since I been to Langkawi many times... land tour already nothing much interested me... so I decide to take islands hoping tour... what is island hoping and where do it cover? meaning you hop from one island to another island by by by?? by what? of course by speed boat.. if not? want to jump like spiderman from one island to another??? the islands hoping consist of three places which are "Lake The Pregnant Maiden", "Eagle Island" and "Beras Basah Island"..

So after had a simple breakfast at my Budget hotel, we head to Underwater World to wait our Pakcik Gan to fetch us at 9.00am... upon arrival at Underwater World, only one car at the parking lot and we park beside that little cute viva drove by a couple.. hopefully we not disturb you.. ha ha.. so the clock tick tock tick tock tock.. why our pakcik gan belum sampai de? few bunches of people come and go.. pick by their driver and head to the destination... why we still here and wait and see the time flying? tick tock tick tock... finally about 9.20am, our pakcik Gan arrive with his old old van with 3 guys inside the van...

Funny thing come, the pakcik doesn't really look that old la.. he ask us "DO I LOOK THAT OLD UNTIL CALL PAKCIK??" OMG.. we doesn't mean that.. just the agent gave us this name so we follow... so so so so.. we faster faster change the title from PAKCIK to ABANG.. haha.. he laugh non-stop... abang la.. siapa cakap pakcik.. tak ada... abang abang...

While abang laughing with us, the van heading to a chiplak motel ick up 3 little ladies.. OMG.. the moment this 3 ladies move into the van.. OMG... i really want to ask them, "kak - awak nak pergi island hoping dan mandi laut ker?" "Kalau ya, ngapa pakai merah merah, biru biru kat muka dan pakai high heel de??" hehe.. perfume also got.. OMG.. ya ya.. people more concern on the appearance conpare to me..

Finally, arrived at the jetty - our departure point... the jetty just nearby the AWANA Resort... speedboat will take 10 of us to the required destination.. yuppie.. speed boat very fun de...

Along the journey, we amaze by the beauty of nature.. saw the small small island.. really stunt by the beauty.. word hardly describe my feeling towards the beauty of nature... if got chance really wish to go back the touring again... Langkawi is really a great place and many small small island around... so nowadays, there are many package available for you to explore this nature...

Our first destination is "Lake of The Pregnant Maiden" or Tasik Dayang Bunting.. There is a legend of this lake.. whoever is childless maiden can at the lake so that will get pregnant.. I'm not sure la.. this is legend only.. whoever want to try can try la... the boatman stop at point and inform us to look at our left.. from afar I can see the laying pregnant lady... the boatman show us the three spots (i already highlighted in my photo)...

After about 20 minutes, finally arrive at the Tasik Dayang Bunting... really cannot wait to see how the tasik look like.. barely look at the brochure is really amazing... hehehe... me and my gang busy snapping picture nearby jetty.. as we really amaze by the beauty of the structure.. then then almost all people walk in to jungle liao... then we faster faster follow la... about 10-15 speedboats same destination like me...

Wow.. need to walk about 7-8 minutes only arrive the LAKE... walk walk walk.. staircase?? OMG.. haihz.. climb climb climb.. down down down..... along the way, saw many many MONYET.. monkey ler.. i so scare.. coz i'm holding a plastic bag.. dont come after me... run run run....

Finally after upss.. and downss.. all the monkey.. arrive liao the LAKE... tasik dayang bunting.... wow... so so beautiful.. before the Lake.. the main entrance of the lake.. got one thing really caught attention... hear ppl laughing and screaming... haha.. apa itu? its similar concept to FISH SPA.. but this one this fish wont bite... so geli la... the fish very smooth and swim across your feet.. yeerrr... damn geli... like kuchi kuchi your feet... what a nice experience.. .... if you dare pls put your feet inside....

Then the main attraction is the LAKE.. so big the lake... many people jump to the lake.. faster faster i also want to jump... but but.. i dont want get pregnant wor... so better dont la... hehehe.. there are many activities also beside swimming.. like paddle boat la.. trekking at the lakeside... bla bla bla.. sun bathing.. bla bla bla..

One hour flies very fast.. haihzzz.. so beautiful and relaxing until dont wish to go back yet.... one hour not enough la.. travel agent? boatmen? pls extend ok.... on our way out from the LAKE.. notice one big sign board.. stated as below... really what a shame... I'm M'sian also feel very ugly the board.. how about the foreign tourist look at us?? Please la.. all the MENTERI MENTERI.. pls do something....

After BYE BYE to the Lake, our next destination is to see eagle... what so nice about eagle? I also dont know.. is just in the tour... normally saw only one small eagle flying around or big eagle also at zoo.. but this one.. so a lots.. really a lots.... alots.. flying in a group.. wow.. u can see the eagle flying and catching a small fish... so beautiful... really scare the eagle flying toward us.. hehe.. hunting food ma.. will they eat me?? can see how the eagle catching the small fish at the surface of the sea and put into mouth immediately... its so smooth...

About 10 minutes watching the eagle flying... heading to Beras Basah Island... yeah yeah.. can swim liao... finally.. jump into the sea and feel the waves.. wow.. got many fishes.. give me roti roti roti... got many Monkey also.. saw the monkey grab a pack of twisties.. hahaha.. very clear makan.... yahooooo..... bisbop.. here i come.... not much photos taken because busyiiing swim swim... whatever style.. dog style ler, frog style, butterfly, etc etc... yayayayahoooooo .....

After one hour, time to go back lo... the island hoping tour end at this BERAS BASAH ISLAND... finally... really "ng seh tuck".. hmmm... about 12.30 liao lo... quite hungry and tired... very nice sit at speedboat.. the wind blowing so nice... damn relax... my group consists of 10 peoples.. only my group play so hard.. swimming and all wet wet jor.. hahaha... then in the boat we screaming and yelling.. so "sam pat"... happy ma.. bathing and clean clean at hotel and heading to for lunch and the next destination....

Since already 2.30pm and not much time.. just lunch at Cenang Beach... LAN KWAI FONG restaurant which located just opposite the Underwater World.. the reason i choose this restaurant for lunch because at this afternoon time, at Cenang nothing much restaurant open as most of them open during nite till wee hours... 2nd reason is the Banner which caught our attention.. From 10.90 per set include vege + drink + desert + main course... 3rd reason is the name of the restaurant... HongKong style restaurant?? the 1st branch at Penang...

Very satisfying meal due to my hunger i think.. haha.. so move to our next destination which is CABLE CAR.. at the top of GUNUNG MACHINCANG... can enjoy the views of the Andaman Sea and many small small islands... Another attractive at the Langkawi Cable Car is the suspension bridge... unfortunately i dont have chance to step in the bridge as its under construction.. sigh.. what a waste... quite scary also when riding the cable car.. coz the rope very long.. its really different experience from the Genting Cable Car... I expect very windy and cooling coz from bottom, saw at the top very hazzzyyyy.. but but.. very hot coz no wind ler.. ceh ceh.. haha...

After about half n hours enjoying the breathtaking sights, hang around a while at Oriental Village to look at some souvenir... look only.. not buy ok.. enjoying our desert time which are sweet corns and connetor.. hehe... the heading to BLACK SAND BEACH.... no longer black lo.. not sure how the original look like la.. but very disappointed with the beach.. not really well maintain... what a waste.... all the MENTERI MENTERI.. pls do sth to maintain it ok.. haihzz...

very windy at the beach.. really nice.. wow.. just stop there about 10 minutes coz dark cloud at top of my head... expected raining soon.. soon... so we heading to KUAH TOWN for our dinner and jalan jalan for chocos and liquor and also cigar lo.. whatelse for DUTY FREE right? hehe.. On the way to Kuah Town, dropby at Ayer Hangat Village.. unfortunately whole village under construction.. nothing to see also.. wasted our energy and time to parking and walk in.. the authorised management should put a sign that its under construction... so shit la and damn it...

Raining heavily at Kuah Town.. so tot wanna have dinner at Pokok Asam but too windy and heavy rain.. so just had McDonald lo.. haihz.. come to langkawi still eat fast food... yuck... hahaha.... rain rain rain.. please go away.. please and thanks...

Since its raining and dont have much place to go.. we decide to watch a movie... Langkawi also got cineplax ler.. hehe... not cheap ok.. RM9.00 - RM10.00.. depends the age of movie... the staff requested us to check our bag.. wah? this chiplak cineplak also so strict.. our small handbag also need to check... afraid we bring parang inside ah?? inside my sister backpack got four maggi mee cups.. the staff request us to put at the counter.. then i argue with the staff... this is not snack and we also cant cook it.. its doesnt matter if we bring in and we bought it at downstair minimarket.. but she insist us to put it at counter... so i mumbling myself very loud but wish she can hear.. "if i know so strict ah.. i dont want to watch at here"... really ng kam yuen... put then put lo...

FURY - a thai movie star by a japanese girl... action movie.. the kicking and the fighting very nice.. the choreography very nice.. heard no stunt.. the girl do all the action by herself... along the movie, we all laughing and laughing and excited.. why laughing? i also dont know.. hahaha... very comedy to me... especially when the girl fight with a bunch of bucthers.. at the pork market... about 1 1/2 hrs movie and finish.. overall nice movie...
